After 5 hours of sleep, here I am. On Saturday morning w migraine as big as Russia.

Sadly, I was only qualified to quarter final. Cannot fight due to spine prob. Haih.

Lost to first seeded player. Nvm, mom once told me, 

"If it is good, it's wonderful. If it is bad, it's experience." Never regret.

Champion!

Alhamdulillah, we won. Phew! Tough game against UMT. 

Because we're a good team and we'll always be :)

A Diary

From now, I decided to write a diary. Easy for me for jotting down upcoming schedules. It's not a waste. Sometimes, I wonder what I've done in the past. So, I can go back to my diary and recall what it is. I'll never know the future, but the past never changes.

YUI's new song.

YAY! New song from YUI. It is called "Fight". Music and lyric by YUI, arrangement by Matsumoto Nozomi. Fight is spiritful song. Very inspirational & meaningful lyric.  21st April. Today was her birthday. Whose words of wisdom & inspiration, encouraged me to pursue my dreams & to do it at the absolute best of my ability. Her words are always in my thoughts & she is always in my heart.

MASUM Games 2012

The 2012 edition of MASUM games was held on March 08-14, 2012 at Kuching, Sarawak. All contigents were very excited, because went there by air plane.

So, it was Hari Naik Kapal Terbang! HAHA. But, you know what; masa dalam kapal terbang, I almost threw 3 people behind me out of the plane. Bising macam orang gila sepanjang perjalanan. FML. Haih. We arrived in Kuching International Airport (KIA) in about 1 hour 45 minutes or so. And, I received random text from Ayah, "Baik baik tengok kucing tu. Miao~". Lols~XD

Then, the perasmian MASUM games.

A glance at MASUM Launching Ceremony at UNIMAS Stadium. A glorious start of sport carnival we must say. The Perasmian was awesome! And I was ... WOW-ed.

First day of MASUM seem smooth. All the athletes seem enthusiast & in high spirit. The tournament started w team event. After 2nd round, we did not qualify. Lost to UPM & USM. Actually, the most important thing is team spirit. Because team spirit what give so many companies an edge over their competitors. 

The individual events started on April 11.

This picture was taken after I won my 2nd round. I beat UTHM 21-14, 21-11. YAY! Happy camper. HAHA.

Next, before quarter final I met 1st seeded for woman single, Daphne Ng. And for sure, I lost. She is BAM player & also coach for Nusa Mahsuri. But, Im still proud because can play w national player. HAHA. Lost? Nvm. The important thing in the MASUM games is not winning but taking part. Kata Ayah.

For me; winning is not defined by what you accomplish, but how you play the game you choose to play. Yeah!! Nvm, Solehah. Let's strive until when when~XD Jiayou!

Black Swan

Watched it for the 1st time last night. Couldnt get Black Swan out of my head. Sickening. Like Shutter Island. Boleh mengigau malam malam.  And yeah, it freaked me out last night. Any psychological thriller is scarier than horror movies. Black Swan reminds me of Requiem for a Dream. Le sigh.

Just bought  MINIMO-X awhile ago. So, would love to share some pictures from that mini camera. Work hard at whatever you do! You can always pitch better. Most people never pitch a perfect game, but that's no reason not to set your sights on perfection. Never stop working & toward being the best in your field. When you aim high, you are much likely to do your best. Push your sellf again & again. Don't give an inch till the final buzzer sounds. Jia you!

Worst Injury?

This picture taken on November 26th 2011. I was injured during the final. Swollen ligament. The rehabilitation time was around 3 months. And today FINALLY, my waiting is over! Able to play badminton again after 100 days of not showing up at my favorite court ;DDDDDDDDD

I've sustained more major injuries playing badminton than I have any other sport I've competitively pursued including volleyball, and high jump! Considering the relatively short time I've played badminton, I have a horrible injury record. Would someone remind me why I should still play badminton... HEHEHE

Major personal injuries sustained while playing badminton in chronological order *that I can remember off-hand: Badly twisted right ankle. It took months to fully recover and it still seems to want to roll easier. Then, the numerous cases of tennis elbow. Due to trying too hard instead of relaxing during strokes. 

Ah, and also strained neck muscles injury. Due to previous lower back injuries, landed from a jump and a jolt of pain went up my spine and into my neck. Put me out of badminton for a few weeks.

Lastly, meniscus cartillage and MCL ligament tear in my left knee. This happened last year and I'm still recovering. This could prove to be my worst injury yet as it might not ever fully recover. I need to wear a guard while playing that can shield my knees from cuts and breaks.

Actually, the worst injury is no injury. It means you aint trying your best to play it the best XD
My next tournament will be held at UMP, Pahang on 18th March & Unimas, Sarawak on 8 to 15th April 2012 :)

Sailing Experience

Sailing is fun & easy if you know how. Its also give us hour of fun & excitement on the water.

Optimists are safe for us learning how to sail. So, jangan risau :)

Karaoke!

Here's a secret. Tadi I ponteng sembahyang Jumaat. I went karaoke w Bell, Pau, Madi & Siti. Yeah, karaoked for 1 hour. Probably our shortest karaoke sesh ever. Bila karaoke, semua tone deaf. Suara semua sedap. HAHAHAHA. 5 suara. Guess what? Our kerongkong/halkum/anak tekak hampir tercampak keluar. Karaoke rule #1: Jangan karaoke dengan lebih drpd 6 orang. Jika lebih, anda akan nyanyi esok je lah ye. Dan kalau boleh, yang suka bolot mic jangan diajak. Lebih afdhal. Nasib baik semua sama rata sharing is caring. Sekian tips penyanyi berbakat.
