2012 is coming. Are you ready?

You know how you’re supposed to come up with a list of “resolution” at the beginning of the year to try to make yourself a better person? Well, the problem is it’s not easy for me to think of ways to improve myself because I’m already pretty much one of the best people I know. HAHA. No la. Actually, I’m such a @#$%^&* person. So, my resolutions for the next year are :

1)     To do part time job. I wish I have lots of money and I could help parents to ease the burden.

2)     Diet. Even it is one of the hardest things for a human being to do. LOL *I’ll try.

3)     Study harder than before. Try to be ONE of the best student.

4)     Exercise at least twice a week. It keeps you limber, young and energized.

5)     Always make people smile. Even just ONE person smile.

6)     Be kind, friendly and respectful to everyone, even if people are not nice to me.

7)     And lastly, stop being wishy-washy about things!

Concert

 I went to Maher Zain's concert that sponsored by the state through Tourism Perak. The two-hour concert held at Stadium Perak, Ipoh & started at 8.00 p.m that performed by Malaysia's paparock *Ramli Sarip* , new singer who born in Pakistan and migrating to Canada *Irfan Makki* & my ex-boyfriend *Maher Zain* EHEM! 

That was an awesome concert.To RS, IM & MZ thanks for sharing your beautiful voice through a beautiful music. I really enjoyed the concert last night. The singing was amazing. And thank you to the organizer that made it a fantastic night. So, here some pictures from the concert last night:

Truth or Lies?

The truth is HARD.

The truth is AWKWARD.

The truth is PAINFUL. 

And very often, the truth hurts. I mean, people say they want the truth. But do they really? Deep down, nobody wants to hear it. Especially when it hits close to home. Sometimes we tell the truth because the truth is all we have to give. Because we need to say it out loud to really hear it for ourselves. And sometimes we tell the truth because we just can't help ourselves. And sometimes, we tell them, because we owe them at least that much. To *lie* or to tell the *truth*. Better if we be quiet? Isn't that 'lying' too? I don't know. But, if someone be quiet...ish. I kinda hate that. I'd rather hear the truth. All the time. Because of ''Don't say anything'', people cheated on me many times. All the way. If people don't say something to me that I need to know, that's ''bersubahat'' kan? So, I like the truth better than lying and just keeping quiet. But I don't know how I'd do it. Giving em the truth.

Achievement

As long as you are not too old or too ill to walk, people will always measuring you by your achievements. This is especially true for people in their youth. Parents, teachers, society and the government love to gauge us scholastically, physically, socially, morally, and in whatever means they can think of. Thus, university examination become so important that many of us will study hours on end to perform well in them.  Actually the pressure on us to perform well at all times is great. The pressure from our family gets stronger the older we grow. Since we started schooling, our parents have been comparing our test results with those of the children of their friends’, who happen to be equally goal-oriented parents. In fact, since we were born, our parents have been comparing the ages at which we first started talking or walking, our kiddy IQ test result and such other traps for vainglory. If I were a piece of chicken, I’d consider myself “ Kentucky Fried ”, not because I was “ spicy ” or “ original ” but because I have been chopped into pieces, tenderized, pressure-cooked and well-fried.

Old Man

Am I the only one who feels broken at the sight of pakcik/makcik tua buat kerja berat for a living?

 I wish I have lots of money and I could help them ease the burden. 

Last week, I saw pakcik tua (maybe security guard) at toll plaza. 

Sampai tertidur kat tengah tengah tol tu. Kesian dia.

And I saw really old man sapu sampah depan mall and he carried w him a bottle of water. That's all.

The recent thing I did was paying a really old cobbler for fixing my selipar & belanja pisang goreng.

They are old, they shouldn't be working anymore. 

Their smiling face, the wrinkles makes this warm-home feeling. 
The smile on their face is priceless :) 
The most important thing, *love and appreciate your parents*
We are often so busy growing up, we forget they are also growing old.

FRIENDS

Everybody needs friends. 

People whom we can communicate with. But who can we consider as friends?

- Friends whom we spend time at the coffee shop? 

- Friends whom we work with? 

- Friends whom we hang out with? 

- School friends? 

- Or our childhood friends? 

There is no prejudice, no difference, and no competition. Until one day we open up our eyes and realise that the world is not as it seems. It's not a problem to make a friends nowadays. We don't have to leave our home. We don't even have to leave our seats. We just need to sit in front of the computer & hit some keys on the keyboard. We have somethings in common. It does not matter if we don't agree on things. It does not matter of we dont know each other. We have to accept the risk as friendship is one journey which is full of uncertainties.

Honesty

Overused phrase: "Honesty is the best policy". 

Is it? Honesty is good, yes, but not always. 

Just imagine if we were all honest all the time. 

The world would be terrible. It would be a cold, cruel place.

there she stood with a smile on her face

under d sme tree whre she always stood b4

when she walked away in her usual different pace

n i toss my head,there she stood no more

u r a thief,u stole our heart away

u warmed it wif ur calm smile

u stayed wif us till we hit d hay

n suddnly u'r gone

leaving us tat soon b fray

no matter whre i look,u'r here no more

i lost my way,n im done for

14th July

Today is my birthday. I grew quite a lot. I think I need to thank my mom & dad. I need to get much better grades, must be more healthy. So, I won't make them sad. In order to do that, I want to make this beginning of my youth important without any regrets. *Madi, Siti, Bell & Pau thank you for celebrating my 18th birthday. :)

And I lost around HK$430 (╥﹏╥)

New Life As University Student

Many times I almost give up .. when I feel over pressured ,tired ,angry ,weak ,alone and like Im going insane (╥﹏╥) . But then I looked around me and I see new faces, new environment and I realized this all a new challenge !!

Ok , let’s clear this now ..

Whenever I feel pressured , I would remind myself the purpose im here . And I am looking to improve myself. These are the things I have to go through . Then I take a deep breath and put a smile . Even if it’s fake!! Given time it will become real .. the smile I mean :)

If I feel tired , I would just ask for a five mins break *we are entitled to that cause we are human* and take a sip of chocolate milk . Close my eyes and visualize where this is all going and when I open my eyes , Im charged again by the possibilities this may bring :)

Anger is a nasty little thing . So , just screw that angry feeling and refer to solution #1 *smile :)* It proves you are a strong person and that is always a feeling of achievement, then move forward and forget details that may hold you back .

One thing’s for sure , I am not weak ! but sometimes I cant help myself . It is very frustrating when you thought you did your best and actually it is not good enough . And when you doubt yourself , that’s when weakness creeps in . close that door, don’t let it in !! never ever doubt yourself and know that frustration is all part of being a better person . Cause if everything is easy,how can you feel GREAT ?

An empty bed , a quiet room. Am I alone ? Never ! The people in your heart always there . Remind yourself by listening to songs and setting cool wallpaper for your lappy..and skype always helps ;D So loneliness is a state of mind, not a situation !! Understand this and you’ll never feel lonely,well almost.We cant help missing our loved ones but that doesn’t make you a lonely person !!

And the best part of it all..when I fell like im going insane :) but that’s just me . I’ve always thought im a little cuckoo!! It adds colour to my life . It helps me imagine possibilities. It makes me see things which are not there. So,if you have yur mind in the right place,insanity could be translated into genius !! hehe . It’s just a way of seeing things . So if you think you are crazy,swap that thought with,”You are a Visionary!”

and now I am SOLEHAH MARDHIYAH again :)

Everyday we may be challenged with new, difficult, hurtful, and even crazy situations.know who you are and remind yourself who you want to be,and that it’s all a state of mind.smile always and stay connected to your loved ones!!!
